A graduate of the Łódź Film School and AFI in Los Angeles — an artist with experience on both sides of the Atlantic, and a UCLA lecturer.
A Polish-American film and television actor. A graduate of the National Film School in Łódź and the American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles. His dual training — European and Hollywood — gives him remarkable range on the international stage.
In Poland he played Satora in Agnieszka Holland’s Janosik. A True Story (2009) and Jason in Borys Lankosz’s award-winning Rewers (2009); in Ryszard Bugajski’s Śmierć rotmistrza Pileckiego (2006) he took the title role of Capt. Witold Pilecki. Since 1997 he has played Prof. Cezary Smosarski in Klan. In the USA he has guest-starred in JAG (2000), MONK (2003), NUMB3RS (2005), Scandal and Scorpion (2015); his role in the CBS television film Helter Skelter (2004) was discussed in The New York Times and Variety. In 2024 he appeared in Butterfly Boy. He currently teaches acting at UCLA.
